We just added a new feature for our Landmarks page. You can now see pictures around landmarks you uploaded! Those images are taken from Panoramio and can be activate by pressing Images button in the top-right corner of the map. The Images button is visible on all pages containing maps (except mobile) and is diactivated by default. Enjoy this new way of exploring what’s around places you’ve visited or planning to visit!

Moscow has become the unquestionable leader in the number of public Wi Fi hotspots, reports Laptop online magazine. Having been a runner up in Wi Fi spots for a few years, Moscow offers more than ten thousand places to get an easy access to the web, leaving London and Taipei behind. Recently, Russia has been placed on the 4th place in the world in Internet penetration and the total size of the Russian cellular market is estimated 167.7 million, giving the country a penetration rate of almost 120 per cent.
Russian HandyWi user base has doubled in this quarter and we are predicting that the trend will continue throughout 2009. Latest HandyWi release v2.0 will be available in Russian language, with even more WiFi features.
